Ianda is currently the Legal Director for Uber in Brazil, a role she assumed in April 2023. She joined Uber after many years of experience in corporate legal practice. She spent 15 years at GE in various legal roles, including the last seven as General Counsel for Latin America for the company’s renewable energy business. Before GE, Ianda worked at Accenture and Hewlett Packard Brazil.
Ianda is passionate about and deeply engaged in diversity and inclusion initiatives. At GE Brazil, she led the Women’s Network for three years, and outside GE she created and leads an award-winning mentorship program for Black female law students (recognized by LACCA in the ESG category in 2020). She has also been repeatedly recognized by Análise Editorial magazine as one of Brazil’s Most Admired Legal and Financial Executives.
Ianda serves as Chair of the Board of Plan International Brazil, an NGO dedicated to protecting the rights and promoting the leadership of children, adolescents, and youth—especially girls.
Ianda holds a law degree from the University of São Paulo and a specialization in commercial contracts from PUC-SP. She is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and lives in São Paulo with her husband and three children.
