Lucio Martins is the Global Compliance Director at J&F S.A., the largest privately held conglomerate in Brazil and one of the largest in the world, where he leads the company's Compliance Program — recognized as one of the most robust in the country. He brings 20 years of experience across Legal and Compliance at multinational companies, with expertise in compliance, litigation, contracts, and corporate law. He also works in corporate governance, with board-member experience at companies in the energy and pulp sectors, complemented by board-director training from IBGC and CPC-A certification from FGV. Prior to J&F, he served as Legal Executive at JBS and was part of the legal team at Kraft Foods (now Mondelez). He holds a law degree from PUC-PR.
