David Grosgold is a partner in the firm’s Financial Institutions and Insurance Practice Groups and co-head of the Latin America Group. A native of Colombia, Mr. Grosgold brings deep regional insight and cultural fluency to his work, regularly representing major financial institutions, insurers, and multinational corporations in high-stakes cross-border matters throughout Latin America, as well as in the U.S. and Asia. His practice covers a wide range of transactions in the financial services and insurance industries, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reinsurance, and bancassurance deals. Mr. Grosgold is widely recognized for his experience and leadership in the Latin American market. He is recommended by The Legal 500 Latin America (2026) for Corporate and M&A, where clients describe him as “outstanding in the insurance M&A space" and "deeply knowledgeable." Cardozo School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and served as submissions editor of the Cardozo Law Review. He earned his B.A. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is admitted to the New York Bar and is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew.
