Jürgen Spihlmann is U.S. General Counsel and Deputy Corporate Secretary of Aclara Resources Inc. (TSX: ARA), which is building a vertically integrated mine-to-magnet supply chain for magnetic rare earths, from ionic clay deposits in Brazil and Chile through a dedicated separation facility in the United States. His practice has focused on cross-border financing throughout the Americas, serving as a bridge between global institutions and local markets. Prior to joining Aclara, he advised on corporate finance and project finance matters at Credit Suisse and SMBC, and was an associate at Skadden, after beginning his career at Hochschild Mining plc in Lima, Peru. He is admitted to practice in New York and Peru, and holds a law degree from Universidad de Lima and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School.
