Felipe Fuentes is a Senior Underwriter at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), the World Bank Group's political risk insurance and credit enhancement platform, where he specializes in the origination, structuring, and execution of guarantee transactions across Latin America and the Caribbean within MIGA's Industries division.

With over 25 years of experience in corporate and investment banking and project finance, Felipe brings deep expertise across the power, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. In previous roles based in the region and in New York overseeing Latin America, he structured and closed a broad range of conventional and renewable energy and infrastructure financings. Now at MIGA, he channels that experience toward mobilizing foreign capital into LAC markets, supporting complex cross-border transactions for international sponsors and lenders.
