Luz Elena Gómez-Haro currently holds the position of Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer for the Latin America Region at PepsiCo, which includes Mexico, Brazil, Central America and the Caribbean, Andean Region, and Southern Cone.
Her outstanding career within the company began in 2015 when she joined as Compliance and Ethics Officer for Central America and the Caribbean. In 2017, she assumed responsibility for leading the same function for Mexico, PepsiCo's second most important market.

In 2021, Luz joined the Global Corporate Anti-Corruption team, where she was responsible for developing critical components of the global program, including trainings, tools, controls, investigations, and various processes such as risk assessments, due diligence, and sanctions. In 2023, she was promoted to support the development of the Global Anti-Corruption Program and lead the Global Training, Communication, and Policy Programs applicable to the entire global corporation.

Before joining PepsiCo, Luz worked for 10 years in the public financial sector and in a firm specializing in climate change, environment, and financial projects.
