Pablo Amaya, LL.M., CAMS, currently heads the Forensic & Litigation Consulting practice out of the Bogotá, Colombia office. Mr. Amaya has nearly 15 years of professional experience in reputational risk analysis and mitigation. He has expertise in a broad range of investigative and litigation support matters, including both internal and cross-border investigations, anti-money laundering (“AML”), business intelligence investigations, compliance, fraud, geopolitical assessment and analysis, corruption and anti-trust investigations, as well as reputational due diligences and asset tracing exercises. Mr. Amaya has focused his practice in the energy sectors, including oil and gas, mining, and renewable energies, as well as the infrastructure, pharmaceutical and retail industries.Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Amaya was director of AML for Scotiabank. He also served as a project manager for one of the world’s largest risk consultancies. Mr. Amaya also worked for several years in various multinational law firms in Colombia and the United States.
