Ingrid Sguassabia Ferreira is Chief Legal Officer for Brazil at Paramount, one of the world’s leading global entertainment companies. With more than 20 years of experience in media and entertainment law, she has built her career advising on complex legal and strategic matters in the audiovisual industry, including content production, intellectual property, talent rights and digital distribution. Throughout her career, Ingrid has worked at the intersection of law, technology and creative industries, addressing legal challenges arising from technological transformation in the media sector, including streaming platforms, digital content and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. She holds a specialization in Intellectual Property from FGV Law and in Law and Information Technology from USP (PECE/Poli), as well as an international master’s degree in Entertainment Law from the University of Miami. In addition to her corporate role, Ingrid is the co-founder of the Entertainment Law Academy (ELA), an initiative dedicated to the development of professionals working in the entertainment industry.
