Zahra is transaction counsel for MIP Inc. and other MAM entities and serves as the general counsel of the MIGS series of funds. Since joining MAM in 2018, Zahra has directed legal aspects of acquisitions, restructurings and divestments for MIP, and increasingly acquisition opportunities for global funds. In addition, she led legal aspects of the MIGS II fundraise and several co-investments for MIGS and MIGS II. Prior to joining MAM, Zahra worked in the New York office of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP for over nine years, representing equity investors, project developers, lenders and other participants in project finance and M&A transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors, with a particular focus on renewables.
